Celebrating Faith as a GP

The Royal College of GPs in collaboration with the British Islamic Medical Association held and iftar with panel discussions, which included a talk by Co-Chair of Muslim Women's Network UK, Dr. Iram Sattar. She explained that the intiative was about positive story telling of Muslims.

Community Iftar at Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace FC and Palace for Life Foundation helped to mark Muslim Heritage Month at their community iftar. Sky News presenter Saima hosted a panel discussion which included Muslim Women's Network UK trustee Angela Dainton who explained what the initiative was about. The event was also attended by Muslim footballer Cheick DoucourĂ©.

The Tiger Hunter Film Showing

BFI and UK Muslim collaborated to mark Muslim Heritage Month by having a iftar and showing a film, The Tiger Hunter directed by a Muslim woman in Hollywood, Lena Khan. The event was attended by selected guests from different professional backgrounds.

Muslim Heritage Month Launch Supported by Tik Tok

Muslim Heritage Month was formerly launched in parliament and attended by ovee 120 guests from a wide range of sectors such as business, health, law, media, film/arts, community, sports, politics and tech. The event was sponsored by Tik Tok and the notebooks were sponsoredby the law firm Womble Bond Dickenson.

ECB Amplifies Muslim Heritage Month

ECB helped to spread the word about Muslim Heritage Month by sending the information through their newsletter which reaches almost 90,000 people, provided a speaking slot at their community iftar event and secured a video message from England Cricketer Saqib Mahmood.

Ramadan Fasting Challenge

Atikah Amalina Zaini the DEI Senior Program Manager at Amazon, hosted and an iftar event at the Amazon headquarters in London. The event was also used to mark Muslim Heritage Month and amplify its messages. More than 150 guests internal and external guests attended the event.

Engaging Muslim and South Asian Communities

To mark Muslim Heritage Month, the Premier League hosted seven football club charities who showcased their work on how they engage with their local communities including children, Muslim women and refugees. The clubs included: Arsenal, Aston Villa, Burnley, Crystal Palace, Leicester, QPR and Wolverhampton.

Ramadan and 'Me' Panel Discussion

The Ethnic and Cultural Diversity Network at Janus Henderson Network organised their first iftar event bringing together internal and external guests. They used this occasion to help to celebrate Muslim Heritage Month. Muslim Women's Network UK's Trustee, Ibtisam Belola, spoke at the event to explain the initiative.

Iftar with fabulous women

The online lifestyle magazine, Sheerluxe hosted an iftar event to mark Muslim Heritage Month. Sheeluxe's CEO Georgie Coleridge Cole personally hosted the dinner which was attended by ladies from different ethnic backgrounds and faiths and from across work sectors.
